Akhand Chandi Palace : It is a building of the Chamba family was started by Raja Umed Singh and was rebuilt and renovated during the reign of Raja Sham Singh with
the help of British engineers. This is now turned into a college and much of the original craftsmanship can still
be seen.

Bhuri singh Museum : This museum houses Chambaps sculpture and is named after Raja Bhuri Singh. It houses woodcarvings, ancient manuscripts and murals from Rang Mahal.
It is closed on Mondays and open on all other days from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

Champavati Temple :The temple was built by Raja Sahil Varman in memory of his daughter Champavati and is in the Shikhara style with elaborate stone carving and the wheel roof.

Chaugan : This public promenade situated in the heart of the town is a grassy maidan and is the hub centre of all activities in Chamba. Chaugan is closed for the public after Dusshera till April for maintenance.

Hari Rai Temple : This 11th-century Shikhara style temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu has a triple-headed statue of the Lord made from eight different materials. At the rear of the temple is a fine sculpture of Vishnu astride six horses.

The Gandhi Gate : The Gandhi Gate, bright orange gateway on the southwestern side of the Chowgan was built in 1900 to welcome Viceroy Lord Curzon to the city. This was the main entrance into the city before the new road was built.

Laxmi Narayan Temple : This Shikhara style temple was built by Sahil Varman in the 10th century AD. In this complex, there are five other main temples and are artistically decorated and all have been built in the Nagar style. The wooden shell roofs, atop the temple serves as a protection against snowfall.

Rang Mahal : It is also known as the "Painted Palace", and was built by Raja Umed Singh in the mid-18th century. Jit Singh and Charat Singh made changes. It became the womenps residence until 1947 and it now houses a college and the Himachal Emporium.

Saho : Saho is situated on a high plateau on the bank of the river Sal. It is famous for the temple dedicated to Lord (Chandrashekhar) Shiva with his moon crown.
Two magnificent images of Shiva can be seen at the entrance and facing the temple is a life size Nandi bull carved with fine details. The spring water of Saho is supposed to have medicinal value. There is a Forest Rest House at Saho.

Sui Mata Temple : The Sui Mata Temple dedicated to Sui Mata (a local princess, who gave her life for the people in Chamba), is located between the Chamunda Devi temple and Brajreshwari Devi temple. Colorful paintings within the temple depict the life of Sui.

Chamera Lake : Chamera Lake situated in the Chamba district is actually a reservoir which is constructed on the river Ravi.
The Chamera Hydel Electric Project is one of the main hydel projects of Himachal Pradesh and the whole state is benefited likewise. The lake is well served by a network of roads which makes human communication possible throughout the area.If you are visiting Chamba or Dalhousie, make sure to visit this spectacular lake. Katsan Devi Temple : This is about 30 km from Chamba and offers a great opportunity to picnic lovers. From the premises of this temple, a full view of the Chamba valley is visible. One would miss something, if one does not happen to see the famous temples of Laxna Devi and Shakti temple of Chantrari in between Chamba and Bharmaur.

Chamunda Devi Temple : This temple is located on the spur of the Shah Madar Hill overlooking the town to its South East. The temple stands on a raised platform. The temple has artistic carvings on its lintel, pillars and the ceiling. Behind the main temple is a small shrine of Lord Shiva in the Shikhara style. There is another platform in front of this temple where two very old peepul trees provide shelter to the visitors. From this platform a bird's eye view of most of the land marks in the town including Chaugan, Circuit House, most of the temples and river Ravi can be had. The temple is being looked after by Archaeological Survey of India.
This temple can be approached by road from Chamba (3 kms). It lies on the right hand side of the Chamba-Jhamwar road. School going children and pilgrims prefer to take the flight of steps from Sapri to this temple. There steps were got constructed by Raja Raj Singh (1764-1794 AD).

Vajreshwari Temple : This ancient temple is believed to be 1000 years old and is dedicated to Devi Vajreshwari-Goddess of lightning. The temple is situated on the northern most corner of the town at the end of Jansali Bazar. No historical record of the temple is available. The temple is built in the Shikhara style with wooden Chhattries and stands on the platform. The Shikhara of the temple is elaborately carved. There are two other minor temples on either side of the main shrine.
